About The Author

Gloria Fiorani

Born in 1980, Gloria Fiorani developed a deep love for reading from an early age—a passion that would later evolve into a profound connection with writing. After initially pursuing studies in a different direction, she returned to the literary world, earning a Master’s degree in Euro-American Languages and Cultures and later a Master’s in E-learning from the University of Tuscia.

Although writing first found expression through personal diaries, it was in 2018 that Gloria discovered poetry as a powerful medium for emotional and spiritual exploration. This turning point led to the creation of her debut poetry collection, Love to Man as Water to Life, a lyrical reflection on transformation, memory, and human connection. In 2019, she received an Honourable Mention for her poem Alba Marina in the “Capire per Capirsi” Poetry Competition, further cementing her voice in contemporary Italian poetry.

Today, Gloria Fiorani continues to write from a place of introspection and empathy, inviting readers to embark on a shared journey of self-discovery through verse.

A poetic journey that reminds us how love, like water, nourishes the soul and shapes the essence of life.
